Set up a class at your organization or corporation

The following is  a detailed description of “Coping with stress through mindfulness”   It is a program that could be taught at your organization or corporation.    You can set up just the “Wny Meditate” class or any combination of the four classes that you would like.


Course objectives

Motivate students to want to meditate.

Provide an explanation of how and why meditation can help. 

— Identify the problems that meditation and mindfulness can address.

— Explain how the practices can help one change their habitual reactions.

Learn How to meditate.

— Provide enough in class experience and instructions that the students will know how to meditate.

— Setting realistic expectations of a meditation practice so that they will be willing to do the practices.

Provide support for integrating meditation into daily life.

— Teach micro practices that can be done throughout the day so that people with a busy schedule can still cultivate and benefit from the practice.

— Provide a “4-week Challenge” program that will allow them to review the material covered in the full course and actually train in a variety of meditation techniques.  Click Here

For All Classes
All of the classes will have some teaching, meditation, class discussion and an optional homework assignment to train in the practices taught in the classroom

Class 1 – Why Meditate

Why should one spend time on a daily basis focusing on the breath?   
What is the problem that meditation solves. 
What are the benefits.


Class 2  Meditation and Mindfulness

What is the difference between Mindfulness and Meditation.   
How to meditate.   
Common pitfalls.   
Setting realistic expectations.

Class 3 – Compassion

When we treat others with respect and compassion we cultivate the relationships that brings people together.
Aspirational practices that open us up.

Class 4 – Letting Go

Letting go of the drama that drives negative emotions.   
Accept the reality of the situation and work constructively to make the most of what you have.
